FC Porto remain atop leaderboard after win

FC Porto continued their perfect run in the Portuguese League after earning a 2-0 victory in Madeira over Nacional. The win was the Dragons fifth in a row and they remain atop the league with 15 points, four points ahead of Guimaraes.

Porto opened the scoring in the first half when their free kick was headed into the net by Nacional's Joao Aurellio for the own goal at the 20 minute mark. Falcao then tried his luck with a penalty kick but had the spot kick hit of the post and out. The second half saw Varela then doubled Porto's lead after Hulk stole the ball and feed it across the box to an oncoming Varela.
